I use a soldering gun to melt tin and evaporate a corrosive oil. The problem is that the copper bits on the guns corrodes very fast. The material that have the best resistance the oil and the temperature is titanium but it have a poor thermal conductivity. I tried to make a titanium plug to protect the copper but I loose too much heat this way. Is it possible to annodize titanium on copper? Can anyone think of any other way?
Thanks
