It most likely will not be enough to get you hired into a Welding Engineer position. I would certainly not have hired you as a Welding Engineer but may have ired you in a QC position as a welding inspector depending on your overall experience, especially in welding QC.

Although not always the case, most welding engineers have a 4 year bachelor's degree.

Dear Mr. weldstan & DVWE

Thanking You.

I would like to know your's suggestion. which course CSWIP or International institute of Welding Course? which is suitable to begin the path in welding carrier.

How about the worth of certificate attached here?

It is from the WRI and is therefore highly useful. Additional Welding Engineering Courses from the WRI would be highly useful in your quest for a Welding Engineer position.

CREERAM....if you already have an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or another engineering discipline, you can re-direct to a welding engineering position with appropriate additional coursework. If you are in the US, professional licensing would be helpful, so you would have to prove your proficiency in welding engineering through examination (unless you work in an "exempt" industry). For many years, my senior partner was a welding engineer with appropriate degree credentials and a professional engineering license in welding engineering. He is quite good and in demand for his knowledge.

If you want to be a welding inspector, that's a different task and route. You can do so through appropriate training and certification without a university degree. It does not pay the same as a welding engineer; however, it usually is a good paying job.

Dear Mr. Weldstan,Mr.Ron,

Thanking both of you

Right now am working in pre insulated pipes manufacturing unit. My passion is to enter in the field of Welding. While attending for some interviews they preferring the CSWIP or AWS.

My question is

Further to Enter in this field can i get the Course from TWI- CSWIP or AWS- CWI or International Welding Institute.

I don't have welding field experience and UG Degree. AM an DIploma in mechanical engineering guy. But am working in QC Department from my starting of my carrier.
