To use Sika Boom 400 fire in electrical sub station

Can we use Sika Boom 400 fire to close holes in cable entry? Before we were told not to use Sika Boom to do so because in case of fire, the Sika Boom will release toxic gases.

Sort of depends. What is Sika Boom 400? and why are you trying to close the holes? We have used steel wool to keep mouse out of the conduits.

Apparently it is a "fire resistant" polyurethane foam. I would not want to breathe the resulting byproducts once it reaches its limit of fire resistance.
