Does the Standard version of SW have a tolerance stackup checking function that I haven't been able to find? I could use something like that even for screws/hole depths all the time! Or do I have to simply do the arithmetic in my notebook by hand? Thanks!

The only tolerance analysis I know of within SolidWorks is part of SolidWorks Professional. I don't believe anything exists in Standard for this task.

As Steve pointed out, Tolerance Analysis is only available in premium. You may be able to make use of Interference Detection to confirm hole depths for fasteners.
