As per A615 for deformed bars the variation / tolerances in their diameters has not been mentioned. Instead it refers to A6, where the tolerances for diameters are only for plain bars not deformed.
We have rebar diameters measuring 11.1mm for 12mm dia, 15.2mm for 16mm dia...etc. Meaning we have diameters 1.5mm less than their nominal diameters.
If we convert those diameters to wt/m length, it is less than 94% as A615 limits.
Please let us know how to justify the consignment (with lesser diameters than nominal) as OK based on the successful metallurgical test results for the same.
