Hi all,

I am doing static analysis of planetary gear system. For this I am using 2 steps. In first step Contact between gears get initiated and in the second point moment is applied on the planetary carrier point. In this static analysis my first step works well but in the second step error 'Too many attempts for the increment' occurs. I did the job diagnostics and there I found numerical singularities at centre points of the planets. also the value of Max. force residual is too large.

Can anyone tell me how to eliminate these warnings and errors? how to converge the solution? I am using full newton method for both the steps. Will the use of quasi newton method in load step will help to converge the solution?

Thank you in advance!
