I worked at an OEM and they had a tool which suspended the Catia V5 session to save licenses.
All the parts (even not saved ones) where cached and the session could be restored by the push of a button.
Does anybody knows now if there is an commercially tool available to do this or if there is a way to achieve similar results?
The problem is that you cannot simply save all the open files and close the session because there are usually files where we do not have write access or newly created ones which ware not stored yet.
So if we use the standard functionality we would always loose some data.
