At some point, I grabbed all the toolbars, made them floating and then clicked the "X" to make them go away. Now I can't get ANY of them back!!

When I go View/Toolbars, highlight a Toolbar, change the "appearance" "on by default" to SHOW and the "orientation" to anything, then click "apply" and "OK", the toolbar does NOT show up on my autocad screen. This seems to be the case for all toolbars.

I have no toolbars!!!

I have copied all the files from the install CD in E:\Bin\acadFeui\Program Files\Root\UserDataCache\Support to both of my support folders - d:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2006\UserDataCache\Support and c:\Documents and Settings\John Smith\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2006\R16.2\enu\Support. No help.

I solved this myself - by creating a new CUI file, copying the whole set of toolbars to that CUI file, customizing their content and behaviour and then creating a workspace identity using that CUI file. Seems like a lot to go through, but maybe future changes will be easier.

As a different approach, bring your pointer up to the toolbar area and right click. The dialog box will show all toolbars and select what you need. Hope this helps.
