toolpath paste with reference problem

paste with ref. is working when manufacturing a assembly, multiple parts with wave linked, but when manufacturing a part and i tried to
copy a toolpath and paste with a reference but not successful, this command is always disenabled?
how to enable paste with reference in a single part manufacturing,? i tried to add a workpiece(copied the original body) but not worked?
any solution?

As long as the part geometry defined in the workpiece objects originate from the same assembly component, this should work fine.
