Hi

I don't understand so well,

what you want to mean, with tool spreadsheets,

See you.

If you're talking about adding the data from a Parts List to an NX Spreadsheet, be it Gateway or Modeling, the only approach that you can use without writing an NX Open application would be to select the Parts List note, press MB3, select the Export... option, and when the dialog comes up change the Output Location to 'File' and Format to 'Commas between Columns', browse to where you wish to save the file and hit OK. Now go to Gateway (or modeling for that matter), and select...

Tools -> Spreadsheet...

...and when the spreadsheet opens go to...

Data -> From Text

...and select the text file you just created and using the spreadsheet's Import Data Wizard, set the loading options to 'Delimited' with 'Commas' as the delimiter, and you should be good to go.

Now if this was NOT what you wanted, you will need to be a bit more clear in your question as well as perhaps provide some example files.

thx John,
I know these option on the partslist table, that works - ok.
I'm just looking to edit the partlist from the Nx spreadsheets. There are addons available ( NX6 - Office 2007)
from Nx Spreedsheets to extract and refresh attributes ( for what use? ) - My aim is/was it to access attribute from spread for bidrectional editing - as alternative to walk through the parts properties. No way to do it?
thx

Even if you could directly access with a spreadsheet the Attributes from the components which are referenced by the Assembly Parts List, you couldn't edit them from the Assembly since you'd have to open, edit and save each Component where you wish to edit an Attribute in order to make those changes permanent. This sort of task would be better addressed with some sort of NX Open application.
