Can anyone help me, what is the proper depth of tooth contact in a pair of helicoil tooth ?
Is it possible, an excessive depth of contact, to create an excessive load to the shaft carrying the small gear ?

Measuring a pair like that by putting blue paint between tooth, we found that the trace of blue paint was too far inside the tooth.

So , what is the proper depth of contact ?

Your question is misleading.
Do you mean you have contact from the tip
down to the point that you are mentioning?
Helical gears have SAP Start of Active Profile
points. Is that what you are concerned about?

If the depth of engagement is too great, the tooth tips of one gear can interfere with the root fillets of the other gear. This can be calculated if you have ALL the geometry parameters of both gears.
