Hi All,

I'm looking for standard torque specifications for bolts/screws (table/chart)? Does it ever exist?

That is a loaded question. There are tables in books like "Marks Standard Handbook" and "Machinery Handbook". They will give you "standard" torques for nominal applications. But, if you are bolting or attaching something that is not typical, then you will need to evaluate that as a separate item.

"monkeydog" is right.
Most of the tables and charts are based on a particular bolt stress or the maximum bolt stress a fastener can stand. The amount of fastener loading is derived from the amount of clamping force needed to overcome the working load. This can get involved.

You need to understand a little about bolt or clamping and the parameters involved. I think a trip to one of the following websites would help you understand.
