Torque_reg

Hi everybody
I would be grateful if someone could tell how I should input a torque as a function of time. The data runs around 400 samples.

I actually used akspline. But the input time in spline data is 4 seconds and after simulating for 4 seconds my arm is rotating 4 times.

What shall I do?

ADAMS is quite a difficult environment to use. Hence those of us that are pretty good at it are quite good at resolving puzzles. But I must confess the information in your question resembles less a puzzle than a random hodgepodge of information. The only useful thing I can say is that akispl is a typical approach for reading excitation forces in.

Thanks for the suggestion Greg. The main aim is to input torque( function of time). In this project I'm mainly applying a revolute joint between the two arms and the motion described is AKISPL(Time,0,.world.Spline_1,0). Is this right? The time in the code is making it run only for 1 second instead for 4 seconds.

OK, from this I deduce you are using ADAMS/VIEW rather than the many other ADAMS products, many of which do not use that scripting language. Where is the Time signal specified? what does the final 0 do?
