Hi all,
I want to analyze a torsion test with Abaqus/Standard 6.10. The lower surface of the cylinder is fixed, the upper surface is loaded with a rotational displacement done by boundary condition (two revolutions). Due to large deformation automatic remeshing is requested.
I tried it with Adaptive Mesh, but when I submit the job and analyze the result, no remeshing happened. I'm using tetrahedral C3D10 elements, so that should be ok. Remeshing Rule with error indicator variables element energy and plastic strain is also created. Furthermore I created an adaptivity process (is that necessary?!?).
So what's missing or wrong? Can anyone give me a tip to get that automatic Remeshing done?
