Please, Help

I use a pine(hose) in my design, I use INSERT/ ADVANCED/ PIPE to connect points and get hose. I see a "total length of hose = ****" when I edit the program. How can I extract that total hose length "value" to be shown as parameter. For BOM purposes

Thanks.

The quick and easy method to do this would be to create a datum curve through the points and add an Analysis Feature for curve length which will be identical to the centerline length. Then to show this information you can use the parameter value with &LENGTH:fid_PIPELEN where LENGTH is the name of the parameter given in the analysis feature and PIPELEN is the name of the Analysis Feature or you can also enter the feature id of the analysis instead of the name.

For BOM reports you should be able to acces the length shown in your pipe feature using the report symbol.
&asm.mbr.pipe.line.stock.length.center

I haven't used this before for BOM purposes so the parameter may be somewhat different but when you edit the repeat region in your BOM you can try other text by clicking on the options as they show up in the dialog window for BOM symbols.
