Hi Everyone,
Curious to know if anyone out here has a good tracability template for Reverse Engineering.
Here's what I'm trying to document:
• Number of parts scanned
• Inspection equipment used
• Nominalized '.stl' &/or '.igs' files created
• Developed Characterization Tables / Matrix
• Often times, these are Excel files with multiple worksheets
• CAD models
Currently, a matrix format is being used, which is O.K. to establish some traceability. However, I'm trying to demonstrate a more visual process, such as some type of traceability tree.
The problem I'm having is that company has poor documentation to begin with & "re-tracing" is extremely difficult.
If I could get some type of template that can do this or something similar, that would greatly help me.
Thanks
