We are about to purchase an efficient pipe system that uses aluminum piping with 'push to lock' composite fittings(nylon 6.6 w/glass reinforce). They have 20,000 installations operational in the field, and they claim it meets B31.1 criteria for compressed air application.
My question is that we would like to use it also for inert weld gases such as aargon and CO2 mixes for gas delivery to weld stations. Does the ASME B31.3 code reject this type of system for low pressure inert gas delivery?
Please help?
