Transfere beams and subsiquent transfer columns in Ram Modeler

How do you add a column on a transfer beam in the modeler mode.
I keep getting an error stating I'm adding a column onto of a beam, which is exactly what I want to do.
I think my model might be corrupt?

The model is probably fine. In RAM SS you are always modeling columns that go down from the framing plan you are working on (unless you are modeling hanging columns, that's another story). Hence, model the column where it is on the higher story, Model the beam through the location of the column on the lower story. Do not model the column on the lower story at all. Use Options - Reference layout types or construction grids to help place the members at the same location.
