Transform surface in cloud of points.

Hello!
I need to generate a cloud of points from a surface. Can someone help me?

If i understand this correct, you have a surface and and you want to create a cloud of points from this.

Can you use the Point set function -Face points- pattern and then any number in "u" and any number in "v" ( 10x10 will give 100 points)

Is this what you expect ?
