Hi all,

I need a 115/25kV trf, Dyn1. The loads on 25kV side are mixture of three phase and single phase. Is there a certain core type that I have to pick (shell, 5 limb core, etc)?

Thanks in advance,

saltan

If you're buying a new transformer, just specify the connection and indicate need to supply single-phase line-neutral loads. The transformer manufacturer will provide an appropriate design, based on their standard designs. There are several core options.

Just be sure to specify appropriate transformer standards and evaluate transformer losses based on present value of losses over lifetime of transformer.

dpc,
