Transformer fault current calculator

I’m looking for a fault calculator to download (buy) to calculate standard utility transformers such as 667KVA 7200/12470- 277 V 3%Z transformers single or three phase
Any info would be welcomed

You could setup a spreadsheet that calculates those quantities pretty quickly using the "infinite bus" method.

Assuming infinity bus, which you should for utility xfrms,
the formula can't get any simpler.

Max. SCC in amps for a xfmr =FLA/Z
where Z is in per unit. (3%=.03pu)

You can set up a spreadsheet for this calculation.

In fact it takes less time to calculate it on a calculator, then the time it takes to open a excel program on a PC!!

What is your e-mail address? I have the program written in Visual Basic. I can e-mail it to you.
