I am running a transient dynamic analysis in ansys, at some time point it is failing to converge and the MAX DOF INC bounces back and forth between two point. I am including a sample. It bisects soon and converges but the same bouncing happens again and again. Eventually it reaches the limit and does not bisect again. I know that there is way to view residual forces in ANSYS I just can't seem to remember or find the command in help. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Look up the help for the nldiag command. I believe what you want is:

nldiag,nrre,X

Where X is the number of Newton Raphson residuals you wish to store.

Hope this helps,
Doug
