Translating a NX6 Assembly in a single STEP214 File? 1

Have an issue that is hopefully a quick fix, how do I translate an NX6 Assembly into a single STEP214 file?

My attempts so far have yielded a series of STEP214 files, emulating the assembly structure of the NX6 files.

you missed a setting in the options:
turn off external references in the advanced tab

Tried that before uwam2ie - and I get a STEP with no geometry from the subassemblies and/or compoenents.

how do you start from file export or ftom File save as *.stp?

Hm... appears that the "Save As" method worked without issue, NX6 assembly into mono STEP214 file. However, working on a write up for users, and the "save as" option could be a quick way for trouble (i.e. user saves the file as something else, step203, etc.), was trying to get the File -> Export -> STEP214 to behave correctly.
