In Spanish we call PEDRAPLEN , to the railroad base when it it shall be done over a flood area, as to rise the old railroad level
It is made whit rocks .
My question is what is this word in English ?
TERRAPLEN , is the same but made on dry terrains with soil or earth.
At both of them there is the ballast.
