Here's my problem:

I have a motherload of piping situated inside a frame. When I make a drawing I want the frame to be shown with dashed lines and I want it to be transparent so I can see all piping components, even when they are hidden behind beams.

What is the best way to achieve this?

Thnx Cor,

Is it possible to set only the frame to 'shaded with edges' and leave all other components in wireframe?
An alternate pos. method means you can't make cutouts, but that's about it I think when it comes to drawbacks.
I was wondering if there is a more straightforward method available, like a 'transparent' setting per component for drawings, but apparently there isn't(?)
