I have a project in SC and SCDHEC has asked we perform sediment trapping efficiency using SEDCAD or SEDIMOT (the drainage areas to the pond are > 30acres so we cannot use the normal settling velocity and d15 charts). I am close to solving this problem in HEC-HMS but not entirely there yet. Has anyone used HEC-HMS to compute the trapping efficiency (%)?
Or is anyone familiar with SEDCAD that has time this week / next week to take on a small project?
