I need recommendations for treatment of glulam.
The glulam beams are support members for a porch and entry canopy at a senior housing project. The beams are under cover but will not be protected otherwise. The project is in eastern Nebraska. Weather extremes can be expected. What are my options?

You have two basic options for treating glulams against decay. The first is to specify CCA treatment of the laminations prior to gluing. The second is to specify ACQ treatment of the glulams after gluing.

For porch columns that I wanted to treat I would use ACQ glulams treated after gluing.

Since they are under cover, why treat them? if additional protection is needed, seal and wrap them with aluminium facia material.

Thanks for the information.
The beams have a roof over them for part of their length.
Can't wrap, beams to be exposed to view.
