Hi
As per our PMS the trim is 13%Cr+HF but vendor offer 13%Cr+HFS. I want to know is both material are same or is it Trim 5(13Cr%+HF) and trim 8 (13%Cr+HFS).Plz help for a solution for this.

As per the link it clear that Trim 5 is F6HF and Trim 8 is F6HFS,but as per API 600- 13Cr HF is for trim 8 not for trim 5.Trim 5 is Co-Cr alloy. The trim- 13%Cr+HF & 13%Cr+HFS is same or different. If possible please provide more details for this.

On reflection looking at API 600 it is maybe Trim 4 rather than Trim 5.

HFS is Hard Faced Stellite with Stellite being trademark for Co-Cr as per Note g of API 600 Table 8.

The difference between 2 offers is one is Stellited.

Anyone else?

hello

when trim(Wedge, Seatring,...) is 13%cr+Stellite in specification, I do not know base material should be 13%cr and we must apply an overlay welding by stellite? or only base material can be A105 and two layer must be applly with 13%cr and then Stelllite after that?

please help me

thank you all
