Trim a sheet by projecting splines

In the attached model, there are 3 splines (23, 24 and 28) I have added continuity to spline 28 so that is touches the other 2 and I would now like to use the trim sheet command to trim swept (6) in the Z axis. Now I would have thought that I could use selection intent along with follow fillet to pick the splines and trim the sheet, however it seems as though it doesn't want to play ball. I don't want to project the curves first, and I don't want to have to trim the spines, I jsut want to use them as they are and trim the sheet and more importantly understand why they won't at the moment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Si.

It looks like it might be a problem with my lap top as one of my team has managed on his workstation first attempt. Bugger.

and there is more....I didn't realise that the curves had to picked in a specific way, I just tried it again on the lap top and picked the curves at the same end for each curve and in a nice order it worked fine.
