Trouble opening AutoCad drawings

I'm having problems when I open existing AutoCAD drawings.
I select "Import to a new drawing" and everything opens up fine. My problem is that all text (notes, BOM, Revision Block, Title Block) displays in yellow. The views and drawing form outside borders are black. The yellow is almost impossible to read.
I've tried going to the Options and changing the color, but nothing I've tried has worked .... still yellow.
Has anyone else seen this? Any solution?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Mike,
I hope you can understand this. I took it out of our Autocad manual and removed the pictures. If you give your e-mail address I can e-mail you the word document with pictures.

Dither settings
If you are using yellow in your drawings, please change these settings. Go to File, Printer Setup…
Click on Printer Tab.
You want to now Modify… printer.
Remove the check marks from Allow dithered output and from Update pen tables on device change.

I have had this problem with AutoCAD drawings I had to change the colour of the layer containing the text and dimensions

Thanks guys. I now understand the problem and can fix it.
I kind of feel stupid, but no one here knew what was happening.
