Trouble porting PAX files from NX 7.5 to 8

I cant seem to get the "drawing_template.pax" file to work right.
Using my old one locks up UG on starting a new file and editing the installed one for anything more than one of custom sheets does the same thing.

Is there something new about the formatting of these files because I'm not seeing meaningful differences.

I use my own customization "startup" folder and have successfully since ver 7.


Anyone able to share something?

formatting is no different that I'm aware of.
can you reproduce the error then post the log and the pax file here? if you can't do that have a look at the nx log file because it should give you an idea of why the pax file is the problem.

Yeah I could do that. But I went ahead and installed on another system successfully so I think I've got a quirk.

I'm not aware of a log file. Can you point me to it? Maybe that would help uncover the problem.

Very frustrating... If I cant beat on the big work horse I may have to flatten it and start from scratch. Very time consuming!

I couldn't see anything of value in the log file.

I'm just going to uninstall all on this machine and give it another try.
