Using Pro E / Creo 2 weld application.
Need help troubleshooting. Never used Pro weld before and having an issue with creating a slot weld. I have no issues creating a regular fillet weld in my assembly but the plug/slot weld keeps giving an error of "Cannot intersect base plane with side surfaces" which is ridiculous as the surfaces belong to the same part being a simple slot cut thru a 4mm thick component. Some of these parts are designed in standard (inches) measurement and some are metric. Could that be an issue in the assembly? I've reviewed several tutorials and if I create a simple assembly with one component I am able to use the slot weld correctly but not in my current assembly which has about twenty components.
Any ideas what to look for?
