Hi,
true dimension is born with NX8.
it's possible to dimension an ISO view ?

Thank you...

I tried. it gives the correct value but the old problem of aligning the dim-lines to the geometry is no difference.
The only workaround i know is expand the view and manipulate the WCS, then create/place the dimension. and finally compensate the size of the dimensions for the scale in the view.

Regards,
Tomas

Try using PMI dimensions.

I know the solution mentioned by Toost and it's excessive for more then two dimension.
John suggestion need license for PMI.
So I remain that I don't put dimension on ISO view, so much Siemens don't implement in some NX future version.

Thank you...

Since this is already doable using PMI, there is NO reason whatsoever for us to waste our time (and resources) adding an additionalbut AND redundant function, which I assume you'd want us to provide free-of-charge, specifically to support the dimensioning of non-orthographic views.
