How do you 'typically' brace the gable wall of a trussed roof that does not have a ceiling diaphragm?
Do you try to span the top plate between some sort of x-bracing which transfers the load to the shear walls? Do you place this x-bracing on top of the bottom chords? How is the connection made at the gable wall? Also seems like it maybe difficult to run x-bracing through all the truss web members.
Thanks in advance!
