Trying to re-add a centerline... 1

I have a detail drawing where I've added a CL to a feature by selecting "Centerline" from the Annotation menu, and clicking on two edges. The CL has since been deleted, and when I try to add it to the feature again I can't. I get the message "There is centerline existing between between the selected entities." Has anyone ever had this issue before?

Ah-ha! If you selected a face when setting up the centerline, there are others in the view which may not be apparent to you. Use the selection filter to catch and delete all of them and start over.

I turned on the filter to select only CLs, and made a selection box after zooming WAY out on my drawing. Deleted all CLs and still getting the same message. I can used a sketched CL, but I always hate having to if I can help it. Just frustrating especially when I had one on there once before.

It's acting like the CL has been hidden.

I've just done a quick test and hidden a CL and am getting that same 'error' message when trying to create another CL ... but I cannot find a way to select the hidden CL to unhide it ????

OK ... got it;

View > Hide/Show Annotations
Any hidden annotations will show greyed out
Select the line so it shows black
Hit enter

Done (or should be)

THANK YOU! LOL, I knew it had to be something as simple as that... it's just a task sometimes trying to figure out where to look for that one little thing. I hate those things that "switch" over on their own and create problems in the future!

Thanks again!
