This is a dummy code for my CWI exam. I have read this too many times and it does not seem to make sence. Any help interpting will help.
"The sum of the greatest dimensions of all discontinuities exceeding 1/32" but less than or equal to 1/8" shall not exceed 3/8".

Thanks,
Tommy

All the open defects, i.e., small tears, pore holes, etc., 1/32 inch or larger are added together. The sum must be no greater (more than) than 3/8 inch. If any one open discontinuity is 1/8 inch or more, it is rejected. If the sum of the open discontinuities is greater than 3/8 inch the sample is rejected.

Best regards - Al
