TSV's vs. PSV's in regard to service & test requirements

Hi, we're currently in the process of evaluating service intervals for PSV's throughout a facility which is located in New Brunswick, Canada. This is a CSA B51 jurisdiction and I have a good handle on the service / test / inspection requirements for PSV's in different services.

This site however does contain a fair amount of cryogenic piping and therefore has numerous Thermal Relief Valves (TSV's) throughout the site. From the service / test / inspection side of things, are these TSV's treated with the same blanket requirements as PSV's?

Generally in the oil & gas industry, the associated TSV's would be maintained under the same principles as Pressure-relief Valves, which is what they are. They are end of line overpressure protection devices whatever application or industry they are installed. For guidance refer to API-576 - Inspection of Pressure-relieving Devices and/or The NBIC (National Board Inspection Code) NB-23 partcularly Part 4 for Pressure Relief Devices (Note NB-23 is based on API-576).
