Tube for Low Temps

I'm making a handle from 20 square hollow tube that might be used in low temps -40C.
Ordinary MS would suffice for the stresses but what spec would I need for the cold snaps (excuse the pun). 43D EE ?
Anybody help? UK spec preferred

Are there any welds? Is the part formed much?
Most low carbon steel grades would work fine, but welds could be a concern.

Yes it is welded but I have the correct welding procedure/wire . It was originally made from plate EN10025 S275 K2G3G4
