Dear Sir
Sorry to bother a trivial question
I have a ammonia stripper reboiler and from thermal rating
the shell side inlet is medium steam (Q=46430 kg/hr
OT=207C) and outlet is all water (Q=46430 kg/hr
OT=207C). After MS pass the steam trap, the OT=197C.
Process staff put 2 phase mark on the p&ID after the MS
pass to the shell side.
As I know steam trap is to retain steam within in the process formaxiumu utilisation of heat. The trap must pass the condesate but not steam.
So could anyone please kindly how to tell that there 2 phase after the steam trap? (The graph is attached in the post)
Thank you very much for your kindly help
