Hi.

I have a layout with two viewports on it.
Does anyone knows how to turn off a layer, but that only one of the viewports is affected by the change?

So lets say, one of them is kind of locked.

I have 2006

Thanks

The way I do it is to go to the viewport that you want to change.
Double click inside it so that you go from paper to model space within that viewport.
Then in the layer properties manager simply select the "freeze layer in current viewport" icon or from the pull down on the layers toolbar select the third icon from the left which looks like the sun half covering a rectangle.
It is as simple as that, I am sure there are other ways but that seems to work for me.

Don't forget to return to paper space after you are done.

The answer was always infront of me, but never realized that was that buttom.
Thank you very much

It's been around a very long time. Way way before R2008.
VPLayer on the command line.
