I have a surfaced component - is there a way of converting it to a solid body?

Thank you for your help.

You would have to use the Knit Surface command

Insert > Suface > Knit & click Knit Surface

There is a try to form solid option on this command

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

You could also try the thicken command, assuming you have an enclosed volume.

Run tools\Check make sure there are no gaps or open surfaces, along with general faults. If all those things check out then I normally do like Heckler suggests, Knit the surface and you will get the option "Try to from Solid". Check mark that and OK the command.

If you have any gaps, open Surfaces, or general faults, you will have to repair those first.
