Does anyone have a spreadsheet that uses the Turner criterion to calculate minimum gas flow rate for lifting water?

Thanks.

Yes, I've put that arithmetic into a spreadsheet (also into a VB.Net program and a MathCad file). Will I share it? No. Was it hard to create? No.

You need to go to and go to their e-library. Search for R.G. Turner (I think his JPT article was 1967 or so). Print the document, READ IT, understand the limitations of the calculations, then spend 15 minutes building a spreadsheet. Any other approach is just asking to apply the calculations in a pressure/temperature region that is not appropriate.

Ive read the paper and done the calculations by hand more than a few times.

Thanks, I'll spend the time and write my own spreadsheet or C# program.
