How do you turn the tolerances on and off in ProE . Such that when you use 2d stuff that just nomial values appear, or +\- rather than adjusting them separately.

tol_display configuration file option
*no, yes

Controls display of dimension tolerances. You cannot access the Pro/ENGINEER Environment dialog box when this option is set to no.

worth more than it's weight in gold.. too handy
I recommend it for all ProE users!!!!

Paul,

You also may wan't to use the option
tol_mode (limits*, nominal, plusminus, plusminsym)
along with
tol_display yes,no

By using the nominal setting for tol_mode,the default display for all dimensions will be nominal and only the dimensions that have tolerance settings applied will display with the tolerance as you have set them

If you do this you can keep the option tol_display yes active without every single dimension being displayed with limits or plusminus.
