Hello everybody
Hope you're doing great.

I have defined two interactions for a contact pair. The second interaction is created after the first one gets inactivated.
The first interaction is a Frictionless contact and the other is a Rough contact.
I keep getting the below-mentioned error while I submit the job.
I tried suppressing one of the above-mentioned interactions and the error was not reported again so I'm sure that the error is due to these two sequential interactions for the same contact pair.

THE *CONTACT PAIR pair (ASSEMBLY_SURF-A, ASSEMBLY_SURF-B) HAS BEEN PROCESSED BEFORE. REMOVE DUPLICATE PAIR. -- THE SAME PAIR OF SURFACES CANNOT BE SPECIFIED MORE THAN ONCE FOR *TIE AND *CONTACT PAIR. ONCE A PAIR OF SURFACES IS USED FOR *TIE, IT CANNOT BE USED AGAIN FOR *CONTACT PAIR AND VICE VERSA.

FYI, I don't have a tie constraint in the model.
Here I also attached my model's interaction manager window picture for more information.
Thanks for helping me out here.

Best regards,
Yunus.

If you just want to change the contact property, don’t create a new interaction (contact pair). Instead, just change the contact property assigned to existing contact pair in a particular step.
