two stroke time/area

hey can anyone help im messing around with two strokes and i need to know what are acceptable values for blowdown time/area, ive searched the net but cant get any thing on blowdown time/area.
Help please!!!!!

yeah ive got jennings book and it doesnt say much on blowdown as faw as i know but i will check again.
