Hey everyone!
So I have a situation where I have a rather large but simple building with RC columns and steel trusses. The building is unheated, it's like a riding ground for horses and there is an area inside next to the exterior wall with masonry walls. The walls run near the columns. The columns have pad foundations and the walls have strip foundations and they overlap. My question is should I tie the longitudinal bars of the strip foundations with pads? Below is screenshot from my Tekla model, the strip foundations are highlighted between the pads.
