Typical value of Xd in AC generators

Can any one tell me the typical value of Xd of an AC hydro-generator with the following data:

750RPM, 1.7MW, PF=0.9,6.3kV

Generally I want to know the criteria for selection of Xd or in other words teh SCR of the AC generators?

you can use:

Xd-synch: Avg: 1.25 Range: 0.6-1.5
Xd-transient: Avg: 0.3 Range: 0.2-0.5
Xd-subtransient: Avg: 0.2 Range: 0.13-0.32 (with dampers)
Xd-subtransient: Avg: 0.3 Range: 0.2-0.5 (without dampers)

All in p.u. in rated kVA base.

a-Without damper winding……………..16 (16-50)%
b-With damper wedges …………………20(13-32)%
