U channel steel Gutter

I need thick plate gutter. What are the pros and cons of using thick steel gutter that you weld on i shaped steel beam (Ibeam) and purlins (for inside gutter)?

The main consideration for an internal gutter is that it cannot overflow. So size, slope, sumps, downpipes all need to be parts of the design to take the volume of water the system has to discharge. Overflow of internal gutters can have dire consequences. As to the material, yes, that needs to be Lon lasting.
