Hi,
When U-Fill (.5Mpa) is used as backfill in between a pit of two foundation walls, will it create any (lateral) force to the foundation walls like soil or it is just a huge piece of concrete block (once it's hardened) and its self-weight is transferred onto the soil beneath it and it doesn't create any potential horizontal load to the foundation walls adjacent to it?
I guess it may be a dumb question but just interested to know about pouring such a huge amount of U-Fill next to the foundation wall of a House.
Thanks!!
