UG-29.1 Stiffener Rings Butt-Weld NDEs when used under EEMUA-190 Standard (Mounded Vessels)

There was an old (closed) thread on a similar subject where people arrived to the conclusion that any butt weld joining stiffener ring sections did not require to be X-Rayed (no volumetric examination needed)under ASME VIII-1 rules (UG-29.1).

Then there was an (unanswered) question on whether or not this conclusion would still hold valid in case of vessel under EEMUA-190 standard (mounded vessel). I think the answer is yes.

Any thoughts ?
